Pick A Block started on the ground: driveways, patios, landscaping and fencing. Block paving is still a large part of what the company does and it is where the name came from.

The render and roofing side grew out of it. Customers who had just had a new driveway laid kept asking the same question, which was what could be done about the front of the house. Rather than hand that work to somebody else, Kyren built the arm that does it.

It means that when a house needs the roof, the walls and the drive sorting out, it is one team, one scaffold and one person to ring. That is unusual in this trade, and it is the reason a lot of the jobs on this site involve more than one of them.

How we quote

Kyren comes and looks at the job himself. There is no charge for that visit and no obligation afterwards. You get a price for the work described, and you are not asked for money before the work starts.

If a job is not worth doing yet, he will say so. A roof that has another winter in it is a roof that has another winter in it.
